This Scan of a patient's muscle asymmetry depicts the amount of muscle pull from one side to the other. Normal is marked by white spikes or no spikes at all. The same colors are used here - green for mild, blue for moderate, and red for severe levels of muscle asymmetry. The Patient's EMG scan is compared to normal. We are viewing the amplitude (amount of tension) of paraspinal muscle activity, along with hyper or hypo tonicity as it compares to a normal population. Green bars indicate one standard deviation over normal, or mild elevation. Blue bars moderate elevation and Red bars indicate severe elevation. Yellow indicates one standard deviation below normal.![]() The images below are before and after x-rays of a patient who has undergone chiropractic care at Absolute Life for only nine months. The first image shows signs of degeneration in the vertebral bodies, and a 106 percent loss in curve being a negative 2, down from a normal 45 degree curve. What does having a decreased or negative curve in your neck do? It puts severe stress and pressure on the sinal cord, and since the brain controls EVERYTHING by sending messages through the spinal cord, this has a tremendously negative effect on health. The second image shows a reduction in degeneration and a great improvement in curve, up to 13, which significantly decreases the pressure on the spinal cord. With continued care, this patiient will improve more and more over time. ![]() |
